& nicotinic acid may have to be replaced by a slow release preparation or by
some of the esters, for example, inositol niacinate.
The latter is a very good
preparation with very little flush & most find it very
acceptable even when they were not able to accept the nicotinic acid itself. It
is rather expensive but with quantity production the price might come down.
The flush starts in the forehead with a warning tingle. Then it intensifies.

this indicates that the patient is getting better & does not need as much.

squash, (c) sea vegetables (dulse, Irish moss, agar, kelp, hiziki), (d)
nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers) with dairy, (e) fruit, (f)
general (broccoli, cauliflower) + (onions, leeks, scallions).
(4) Fermented Lactobacillus group (pickles, sauerkrout, miso, tempeh) + optional
fermented milk products (yogurt).
(One can add ume plum vinegar to
salads or drink as a cordial/liqueur ume/umeshu plum wine for dessert, to
stabilize the intestinal PH balance.)
(5) Optional occasional fun foods (junk food, milk, cheese, alcohol, chocolate,
sugar) = Eat rarely/least.
Additionally she encourages one to eat very SLOWLY.
