COMMENTARY: While we are waiting for our diseases to not manifest themselves & for God to manifest our healing
It is time well spent, having done everything else we have been taught, to wait & proclaim our healing.

Remember, remember, remember, God formed the world, and you, and me by speaking.  We existed in His mind way before He spoke us into existence.  Never, never, never forget that.  It is a vital key to our wellness...
When the Israelites marched around a city to capture it, they marched 7 days banging pots & pans, as it were, not rockets & grenades.  When they shouted, the walls fell like the Berlin wall.  That final day was the manifestation of their victory, not day 1.  They did not march day #1, see nothing, & then quit all discouraged...
[Joshua 6:2-5  The  Lord said to Joshua, "See, I have (already) delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.  March around the city once with all the armed men.  Do this for 6 days.  Have 7 priests carry trumpets of ram's horns in front of the ark.  On the 7th day, march around the city 7 times, with the priests blowing the trumpets.  When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give  a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse"]...
Victory is won the eve of the battle, not the day of the battle, for the battle is the Lord's & not ours. 
Our part is the obedience.  We are the soldiers.  God is the commander of the army. 
As a camel, let us begin & end each day on our knees, before our Lord, the winner of our battles...
Moses and his clan were so caught up in doing and thinking things the old way that it took them 40 years to get their act together. (See Exodus in the Old Testament)  They had God with them but not in them.  We have the opportunity to have the Holy Spirit in us.  Awesome.  Let us not be so stuck in our doctrines & denominations that it takes God 40 years to help us...
Noel Jones says that God's gifts were given to us from the foundation of the earth. 
Let us not wait till we are on our death bed to receive His blessings.  His blessings are not just for "those" other people.

Let us minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, walk by faith & not by feelings. 
Let us not listen to the voices in our head that often get us into  trouble.  Let us listen only to the Holy Spirit speaking words of scripture to our heart.  Scripture is no good in the head.  It needs to take root in the heart.  We need to soak ourselves in holy music and scripture every single free second that we have the opportunity, on the toilet, in the bathtub, on the way to work, on the way home from work, when we sit down for a cup of coffee, when we are getting dressed for work or for bed, always. 
When we are not listening to or reading scripture, let us be speaking it aloud to God, to satin, & to ourselves.  Then there is less opportunity for wrong thoughts to sneak into our minds & mess us up.  We will recognize trouble sooner & reject it quicker. 
It takes time to build up our NO muscle that can resist the enemies in our life.  It takes time to build up our spiritual muscles.  That is OK.  God is a patient father. Let us memorize the scriptures which apply to our needs.  Let us say them aloud & often...
Reprogramming the mind is essential.  Remember, we can always say. "No.  I refuse to accept you thoughts which run through my mind over & over again, like a broken record.  I refuse to think those thoughts.  I refuse to accept those as mine. 
I refuse to concentrate on them.  I am 'dead' in Christ.  If I am 'dead', then nothing can rock my boat.  No past wounds. 
No present troubles.  Dead people cannot feel hurts.  They cannot be angry.  They cannot allow feelings to interfere with the high goal of wellness in Jesus Christ.  They cannot allow thoughts which interfere with safety, health & peace.

Henry Wright of Georgia, USA teaches that healing is typically a process & not a snap turnaround. www.pleasantvalleychurch.org  If our experience is contrary to the God's Word in scripture, then we need to begin a habit of affirming aloud specific scripture that contradicts our situation or our thoughts.  For instance, scripture says that by Christ's stripes we are healed.  Also, for instance, scripture says that homosexuality is an abomination to God, not a choice, not a natural sexual act, not a sexual identity disorder, but a lie of Satan, a sin that can be forgiven, & a wound that can be healed.  Have we read scripture?  Do we know from His mouth what He thinks, or are we believing the opinions of others? We need to convince Satan, our doctors, our family and OURSELVES that what the Lord says in scripture is the only truth.  As long as Satin has a legal toe-hold in our thinking, in our believing Satin's lies, then we are candidates for relapses, night torments, & whatever Satan can get away with, by blaming us or the illness, while he remains the invisible enemy.  We need to claim & speak aloud God's word before anyone sees the results of those words, the same way God spoke the earth into existence...
Let us not overestimate the results of the healing & miss the journey.  Let us not be so miserable, so disappointed, so sad, so angry, so disillusioned, that we fail to say thank You for healthy legs and feet when we see someone in a wheelchair, that we fail to enjoy our summers before the snow falls, & that we fail to learn the lessons God would teach us in our tragedy, lessons that we would never have learned if we were well, or if we were healed sooner by a miracle.  The school of hard knocks, can be a blessing in disguise, from the Lord, if we allow God to make lemonade out of our lemons.  If we are in such a hurry to get well, then maybe God will have to train someone else to be His next Jonah, Job, etc.  Let us not lose out on the opportunity to get a B+ on our report card in God's school of hard knocks.  Christ got His diploma after the cross, not before.  The recesses of life are great, but seldom do we get graded on them.  Let us not be like those who wait all their life for retirement & then die before they can enjoy their last hurrah.  If we have, or our loved one has, downs syndrome or another brain illness, let us not throw away the baby with the bath water.  Let us laugh, hop, smile & dance in the waiting room of life, because most people are too rushed, anxious, shamed, self-conscious, etc to experience the wonder of NOW.   Never mind what others say. 
Only mind what God thinks...
Don't give yourself and God the leftovers of life.  Give every day.  Sing in the bathroom.  Sing in the tub.  Sing in the car. 
Toss a smile to someone who needs it.  Buy yourself a daisy.  Mow that lawn, rake those leaves, shovel that sidewalk and do a few dance steps at the same time.  Bake that needy neighbor a healthy loaf of bread.  Saving those special clothes for a special day?  If they have not been used for over a year, then take them to the thrift store, cause by the time you need them, they may be too small, too out of style, & the thread may be rotten.  Too many shoes, books?  Do likewise...
When triggers push my buttons & I weep inside uncontrollably, my attention is on the past or even on the present wounds. 
Our present reality is not God's reality... Our concentration is on the infection & pus of trouble. 
 God's view is what we can become & what we will become through the work of the Holy Spirit. 
God, give us new eye glasses.  God, give us new eyes.  Yesterday is dead manure & today's fertilizer... 
All things work together for good to those in Christ Jesus.  God, thanks for our miserable past, our miserable present, our thorns in the side.  May we add our wounds to Your wounds on the cross and be grateful for the hurts that are bringing us into a place of forgiveness, peace, victory, & wholeness...

An African reminded me an American that God often reveals His requirements one step at a time, so that we need to practice/apply what we learn before He reveals the next step, finally orchestrating a beautiful dance.  He was explaining his understanding of salvation + the demands of the10 commandments.  However, the same concept applies to the gifts of the Spirit, as well as to any spiritual insight/revelation, a seed which must be planted, watered, fertilized, & pruned.

Daniel asked.  'It is a book in which I record everything that happens in your life & your marriage. I record all the times you get angry, sad, glad, or praise the Lord. When you have problems it is my job to take my records to Jesus & ask Him to intercede with God the Father on your behalf. They are the ones who dispatch angels to help you. When you arrive in heaven, God the Father will give the book to you to read.'  Then he paused & motioned across the driveway. 'Do you see those' 2 men dressed all in black standing on the other side of the driveway writing in books?  The man continued, 'Those 2 serve Satan.
They are like para-legals. They record all the same things I do; then they take the record of your failures, sins, & such to Satan & make a case to Satan that he can take to God to petition God for permission to attack you. When you have an argument with your wife that is not settled, or you fall into sin, then Satan uses that as legal ground to petition God to attack you.'  
It was then that Daniel realized it was an angel & not a man he was talking with.
