Scripture also tells us that Satan was the most beautiful angel placed in charge of all the heavenly worship. 
Many pastors tell us that praise is the key into the door of God's heart & the key into the atmosphere of heaven.  It is a place that Satan knows personally.  Satan personally sabotages every attempt we make to praise God.  Praise is worth the effort, if we do not give up, not quit & not rely on our feelings. 

John 4:24 KJV - God is Spirit; those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Commentary

1st, Many charismatic pastors teach their congregations that each of us has the same rights & opportunities as Jesus Christ, because Jesus is the 1st, the example for us.  Jesus is our brother according to scripture. 
As we mature in the Lord, we can hear His voice more clearly.  Scripture says that His sheep can hear His voice.  As infants we need to recognize who our parents are, but soon we have no doubt.  Joyce Meyers explains that a major difficulty is learning to recognize God's voice is lack of persistence due to listening to our flesh & to the devil.  She has a wonderful series of 4 audio cassettes called Keep on Walking When the Devil is Stalking #241 www.joycemeyer.org which tutor us in recognizing our Lord's voice.  She mentions that the Holy Sprit is always gentle & gives us a choice, but that Satan is condemning. secretive & bossy.
2nd, Joyce says that the Devil encourages us to quit, to give up, while the Holy Spirit wishes us to never give up, no matter what the flesh is feeling or experiencing.  For instance, if the voice in our head says to give up, that we will never get healed, then that voice is either our own or Satan's.  It is not the voice of the Holy Spirit. 
If we never get healed and die, that is not God's best plan for us.  God's best plan is for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.  The point is this.  Quitters never win the race.  The turtle (not the rabbit) won the race, not because he was qualified, but because of persistence. Not quitting also involves believing that God will act in our behalf.  God seldom intervenes without our trusting in His willingness & ability to help us.
How does this apply to praise?  Simple.  Praise, in joy and depression.  Praise when we feel like it & when we do not feel like praising.  As real estate is location, location, location, so praise is persistence, persistence, persistence, because the enemy of our soul will try to discourage us 24 hours a day, but greater is the Holy Spirit who is in us than Satan who is in the world. 
3rd A most wonderful scripture is Daniel chapter 10.  "You who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, & stand up, for I have now been sent to you... Do not be afraid, Daniel. 
Since the 1st day that you set your mind to gain understanding & to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, & I (the angel of God) have come in response to them."
African pastor Robert Kayanja admonishes us to begin praising and thanking God immediately after requesting, & claim God's victory in the heavens even though it has not yet been manifested on earth. 
Kayanja has a huge healing ministry, yet Satan assaulted his twin daughter with terminal cancer, needing both prayer & doctors to remedy the situation.
4th Get yourself a prayer partner.  Together you 2 can help each other.  God says, "Where 2 or 3 are gathered together, there I am."  Satan wants us to rely on & obey our feelings. Never, never, never rely on your feelings.  Rely on God.  Praise has nothing to do with feelings.  It has to do with who God is and what God does & will do. Begin with "thank You".  Thank You for a bed to sleep in.  Thank You for legs that walk, for eyes that see, for a mouth that speaks, & for ears that hear.  Thank You God for my food.  Do you know that saying grace before meals, protects you from food poisoning?  If you are paranoid, then this is especially a good practice & a good protection.  Never sneer at those who say grace.  Instead realize that they practice a secret for safety. 
5th Tell your mom or mate, "Thank you for washing my socks".  Tell your boss, "Thank you for my pay check".  Tell God, "Thank You for my driver's license".  The more we say thank you, the more our countenance changes.  Then we can begin to enter into praise.  God, I praise You for Your awesome sunrises and sunsets.  I praise You for that delicious fragrant flower.  You are a wonder perfume maker.  If you are alone in your car or alone in your bathroom or alone in the park, raise your voice & hands to the Lord.  He looks at the heart, so every croak that tumbles out of our mouth is wonderful to Him.  Now start those feet tapping & dancing.  See, this can actually be fun.  You can play the guitar unto the Lord.  It is good exercise & fun all at the same time.  Will people think you are crazy?  It is not what people think, but what God thinks.  Besides, if you are crazy, no harm done, except to exorcize Satan from molesting you. Satan will flee.  He cannot stand praise.  He resents people from taking over his old job.  We become stronger as Satan becomes weaker.  Praise injects healing like a shot of drugs. 
Praise is just what the doctor ordered.  Doctor Jesus.  More is better.  Longer is better.  Practice, practice. 
As you thank God, your thankfulness will increase.  As you praise, your praise will increase. 
As you worship, your worship will increase.  As you persistently delight yourself in the Lord, He will begin to meet the desires of your heart, if you faint not.  Remember, Christ did not quit, even when He felt like quitting.  He persisted through the hard places, so that He conquered not only infirmity, but also death, & is alive to now help us.
6th When is a good time to praise God?  After we are healed?  When we are in despair or trouble?  Both is the answer.  The apostle that Jesus visited after His ascension into heaven is Saul/Paul.  This Paul while in a miserable prison, instead of bemoaning his fate, glorified God in song & adoration.  The New Testament chapter of Acts 16:22-25 states,  "The crowd joined in the attack against Paul & Silas.  The magistrates ordered them to be stripped & beaten.  After they had been severely flogged, they  were thrown into prison.  The jailer was commanded to guard them careful.  Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell & fastened their feet in the stocks.  About midnight Paul & Silas were praying & singing hymns to God."
7th Derek Prince (a man through whom God delivered many evil spirits) was bedridden & about to die in Israel.  Larry Huch wanted to pray with him.  Prince, then in his 70's, said he wanted to praise before he prayed.  They sang & worshiped, before Prince gave his bedside blessing to Huch (who now has a deliverance ministry).  Our praise is a hello kiss, a greeting of joy, to God.  www.larryhuchministries.com/about/vision.cfm
8th Another scripture that comes to mind is that of Job.  It is not so much that he praised God, but the fact that he did not blame God nor curse Him as his wife admonished him to do.  The Old Testament chapter Job 2:9  says, "His wife said to him, 'Are you still holding onto your integrity?  Curse God and die.'  He replied, 'You are talking like a foolish woman'"...  Remember, even Eve was a bad influence on Adam, her husband...
Beware of your advisors.  Always try to honor your conscience and your God.
9th Daniel speaks of a Babylonian king's complete healing of mental illness. 
"At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, & my sanity was restored. 
Then I praised the Most High; I honored & glorified Him who lives forever (Daniel 4:34 NIV Bible)." 
The complete healing was not year l, nor year 2, not year 3, nor year 4, not year 5, nor year 6, but year 7.
God is not only in the medical business of restoring sanity in the old testament, but also in the new testament, + today & tomorrow, for God is not dead.
10th Praise is NOT our reaction to how we FEEL.  NO. 
It is a command from God Himself Who commands us to offer praise to Him as a sacrifice. 
11th Satan abdicated his position as director of praise, the very thing that now defeats him. 
That is why we need to praise, regardless of feelings, in addition to the fact that God is worthy of continuous praise 24 hours a day.  Praise is the foundation on which we need to stand. 
Praise is the air which we need to breathe.  We praise Father God, Jesus His Son & the Holy Spirit. 
12th Our flesh/feelings are tuned in to the AM radio frequency, while our spirit is tuned in to the FM radio frequency, for illustration.  The FM station may always be out of tune, because there is the static interference of the enemy, + our unfamiliarity with tuning in to the right station.  We need to train our spiritual senses to recognize God's voice.  An infant will not bond to an absent parent.  We need to bond to God. 
We need to practice listening to His voice, so our voice recognition software will pick up His voice & not mistake it for Satan's.  We need to tune out Satan & self and tune in God.  The more we do this the more comfortable we will be.  If our human brains are on overload attempting to climb into heaven, our human spirit will miss out on its daily adventures with God.  When we die we may be only infants in spiritual maturity, having failed to spend time with Dad.  AM is equivalent tuning in to God with the brain/intellect.  PM is equivalent to communicating spirit to Spirit.  2 entirely different wave lengths.  The brain/flesh will take us 40 years to get to the promised land. 
The Holy Spirit can get us there in the twinkling of an eye, just like Peter Pan, through translations or whatever method God chooses.
13th There is the retold story of animals/birds held captive via a leash tied to a tree.  When the leash/tether is cut, the animal never ventures outside its former prison perimeter.  We too often behave the same way. 
We often have mental and/or enemy spiritual ties/umbilical chords/strongholds/strings/chords tied to us that attempt to blind/stop/prevent us from escaping from the past mindsets, even when the rope/collars/chains/ restraints are cut off by Christ Jesus Himself.  Scripture says to put/take on the mind of Christ. 
1 way to do this is to recite aloud & memorize Scripture.  When we input something new it displaces the old, so there is no more room for the old.  The more full of Christ we are, the less room there is for old mindsets. 
Take a floppy disk.  Reformat it & now it is new.  Likewise, we can let the Holy Spirit do that with our minds. 
The more we dip into The River of Life, the more we will look, act, & think like Him.  As we break off/loose ourselves from depression, we allow ourselves to step into thanksgiving.  Next we go through the veil separating thanksgiving from praise.  Finally we go through the veil separating praise from worship. Here is where we want to be in the arms of our spiritual husband and lover.  Here is where we will be content/free/complete/at peace.

Move out in the power of the Spirit into that realm where I would have you to live and move and yes...live in Me continually, & not  that ye be moving in & out of this place.  I would have you live continually in the center of the Kingdom of God, just as I have place the Kingdom within the very center of your being (when God's Holy Spirit impregnates your human spirit when you are born again; water & Holy Spirit baptism further empowers one's spirit man).  You bring this Kingdom into operation in you own life by an act of faith...There are works which I must yet do through My body, the Church, which I could not possibly have accomplished through My own physical body in My earthly ministry...There are sufferings yet to be accomplished in the body of the Church that I was not able to suffer on the cross...Yea, & Praise Me when the most difficult thing to do is Praise.  This is the victory that over-cometh the world...Faith rejoicing for victories claimed in advance...the very fabric of things hoped for...the raw material in My hands...I am happiest there, &...ye shall make the enemy most unhappy...
This (praise) is the most powerful weapon ye can use against him (Satan).  So praise is like a 2-edged sword, the 1 side bringing health to your own spirit & the other side cutting down the enemy."

Chapter 7 Obedience - The Angel Judy - "Praise has in it part of the heart and part of the spirit sent forth,
so it is tangible to us in this world of true light, life, and spirit. To us here, praise is as substantive as a trolley on earth, you might say. You join yourself to it, & it will carry you along.
It can take you for a ride,” she laughed liltingly, “& the one joined to it adds to it.” 
I turned my eyes to look out over the valley. How could this be?
I questioned within myself. Then I began to think, Yes, yes, I can understand that. I know that f someone leads worship with an anointing on earth, it can lift you in spirit to that person’s level of praise. The other’s anointing carries you with it, & you add your voice to the worship being raised to God. Yes, I can see that. 
“Since all such praise travels to the Father,” she continued, “it is like catching a ride on a passing trolley & enjoying the ride to the throne room.
If the angels do not ride all the way there, still they have added an imprint to the praise.
Therefore, they too have participated, if ever so briefly.”
Chapter 10 The Throne of God - Angelic Praise - Thousands of angels were circling above the throne area, & thousands more seemed to be arriving to join them.  Countless numbers of angels were already within the bow of the corona around the throne. Each group wore the color of that particular hue.
They were making musical sounds by flying at different levels and speeds & patterns.  
Just as a whirling stick might make a different sound—increasingly higher or louder by the speed with which it is whirled, so these angels in their flying brought forth various sounds of praise.
The tones that their flight made were different from singing or the playing of instruments.
This must have been the musical sound whose origin I could not detect earlier, rare in its beauty.
They seemed to be unbelievably happy, swimming, as it were, in the glory of God.
I too felt this joy; forever would not be long enough to praise Him & to receive His joy back from Him.’ 
At times some angels would fly together, producing a tone different from the sound of those in flight in a single color.
One With Praise - The melodies, like the light in the throne room, went right through me.
The music of praise entered me and passed through me, and I became one with the sound.
It was as though I became praise. I remembered that in the Book of Psalms David said, “But, I prayer,” meaning that he was prayer. So it is with praise in the throne room.
Epaggelias paused amid the dancers & spoke, “The harmony, unity and desire of these here to give to the Father His due, constantly giving of themselves & receiving more of Him when they praise and adore, bring forth a sweet music.”  “Yes,” I agreed.  We watched & listened a moment before moving forward again. 
As we drew nearer to the throne, it was as though I began to see praise.’ It was translucent, almost invisible, but I could see it. It seemed to have different properties. Some kinds of praise were like fabric, some like particles. Thanksgivings looked similar to bird flights of light.
Praise Purified - The angels in flight gathered some of the praise from the sea of glass & wove it into their praise within each color of the bow (that is, the radiance around the Father) before it went to Him. Some worship went to a small altar on which there appeared to be smoldering coals.
I wondered why some went one way & some another.  Epaggelias addressed this unspoken question, “Some praise is already in harmony with heavenly praise, but some must pass through the fire.”

(2nd Corinthians 12:7)  "I beg You to deliver me from it, but meanwhile I bless You for it...I glory in my infirmity (2 Cor. 12:9) even while I ask You to overcome it.  I triumph before You in my affliction, blessing Your for it even while I ask You to help me through it and rescue me out of it."  "In  talking with my dear friend George Muller...he mentions that he has for so many months and years asked for a specific request and (immediately) praised the Lord for its answer. 
He praises the Lord for it as though he as actually obtained it.  Even in praying for the conversion of that person.  Though...he has been praying 30 years for a certain request, & the answer has not yet been received, still all the while he continues to thank God, because he know the prayer will be answered. 
He believes that he (already) has his petition and begins (in advance) to magnify the Giver of it."

Matthew 21:22 KJV - Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.  "Bless our gracious Lord for the specific troubles (that are drawing us to God Who is teaching us many valuable lessons, until the time the troubles are removed)...bless Him for the mercy that we need, as if it had already come...praise Him whether we receive the answer or not." 
(Sometimes there is a time gap between what is bound in heaven and what is bound on earth, or so it seems.)
Chapter 7 The Singing Army reminds us to remind and thank God of all that He has done for others and for us; we are to itemize these incidences.  Only then do we have the privilege & courage to ask again, for yet one more favor. 
Likewise, we are to claim/cling to God's holy promises..."When you know that the Lord means to deliver you, bow your head and give Him the quiet, deep, solemn worship of your spirit...Praise Him for what is coming; adore Him for what He is going to do...Your song while you are still in distress will be sweet music to the ear of God...While they were singing, God was accomplishing the great deliverance for them...When God has done great things for you and brought you through your present difficulty, you must be sure to repay Him in the courts of His house with your loudest music and your most exultant notes, blessing again and again the name of the Lord."

God often allows/permits problems as the school of hard knocks, for many of us are unable to learn any other way.  When we praise Him "for" a problem or for "allowing" a problem, then praise acts as Draino, unclogging the vein/pipe/access to a remedy.  Praise allows the Holy Spirit & His angels to minister to us & fix the trouble/disease/ mind.  Praise is a key that unlocks a prison door.  Scripture shows this explicitly.

Acts 16:25 NIV - 25About midnight Paul and Silas were praying & singing hymns to God. 
The other prisoners were listening to them.  26Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the prison foundation was shaken.  At once all the prison doors flew open.  Everybody's chains come loose. 
Acts 12:6-7,10 NIV  6The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between 2 soldiers, bound with 2 chains.  Sentries stood guard at the entrance. 
7Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared.  A light shone in the cell.  He struck Peter on the side & woke him up.  "Quick, get up," he said.  The chains fell off Peter's wrists...
10They passed the 1st & 2nd guards & came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself.  They went through it...
Frequently Satan gets legal permission through default; we fail to speak/declare/claim God's promises.  Jesus Christ, the 1st Son of God, did 100% of what God will do for us.  God is not going to heal anyone. 
He has already healed us.  Jesus has the stripes on His back to prove that. (Isaiah 53:5 With His stripes we are healed. + 1st Peter 2:24 By Whose stripes you were healed)  Now God is waiting for us, His other children to do their 100% in each generation.  With the baptism of water for the forgiveness of sins & the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to fulfill this requirement.  Notice that praise is a mouth thing.  We need to SPEAK aloud (& enforce in the spiritual world).  God created everything through speech.  This includes warfare. 
(Take note; be warned.  Praise need not be based on feelings of joy, lest we fail to obey His word and fail to perform His works. Certainly, at least initially, Silas, Paul, & Peter were not full of joy in prison.  Act/speak/praise/worship now, lest we lose another hour of freedom.  Do not stay locked in prison. 
Remember, Jesus Christ was a prisoner.  God allowed him to suffer/be tortured and die.  His resurrection unlocked the doors to heaven.  All suffering is bad, but God can transform/redeem/harness evil. 
Do not use your intellect to figure out things.  Just praise/worship/trust God.  He can turn manure into fertilizer.

Understand that every attitude carries its own power & vibration which is recognizable in the realm of the spirit. It is not just an attitude.  It is a force that wraps itself around a person like a coat that continually pulls a person deeper into its power until they are completely overtaken by it, whether for good or bad. Since praise manifests God's presence, we also know that praise repels the presence of the enemy, Satan.
An atmosphere that is filled with the sincere worship and praise of God's people will send the enemy running:
For in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. Satan cannot contend with or find remedy for the all-encompassing presence of God.
He must flee...The demons have always begged for mercy from Him to not torment them before their time...
Cultivate an environment of the Glory of God through High Praises.  The enemy will run from us, demons will automatically scatter, sickness and disease will lose their grip as they are demonically induced & will eventually fall away. So the key is to become a praising people...Holy Ghost presence will drive every inferior dimension of sickness and disease from our midst...This kind of thinking is dangerous for the devil to see happening in the saints of God. As the Presence of God comes, the veil is stripped away & we are being transfigured from 1 degree of Glory and revelation to another by the Lord who is that Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Satan becomes powerless to stop the renewal of the mind and the flow of revelation that comes to transform the person. He fears the power of the name of Jesus, & runs from the presence of the Lord.  Whoso offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God (Psalm 50:23)...
When they began to sing & to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the children of Ammon, Moab, & mount Seir, which were come against Judah; & they were smitten. (2 Chronicles 20:22).

Let me explain the "Roar of the Lord." God's sound permeates from Heaven & orders much of what goes on in the earthly realm.  When He is ready to bring restoration to Earth, He releases His sound. It touches everything and every part of your life.  Likewise, a lack of praise affects you in a negative way, turns the devil loose in your life, & doesn’t bless God.
You have to get this area of your life right. Nearly everyone agrees that praise is good, but very few feel any responsibility to praise God when they don’t feel like it.  I don’t know anyone who wakes up in the morning & plans on being depressed.  They would like to be happy & praise God, but they don’t feel they have any control over this. They think that praise is just a response to what happens & that if everything goes right, they will automatically do it. That is definitely not the case…
We may not feel joyful, but Scripture tells us in Galatians 5:22 that the fruit of the Spirit is joy.
If we have the Holy Spirit, we have joy.
We may not feel that joy, but we can choose to lift our hands & speak forth praise to God by faith.
Learning to praise God even when everything is going badly will change our hearts, make us much more effective, & cause our faith to abound.  I truly believe that my choice to praise God, even after getting the report that my son was dead, was 1 of the biggest factors in seeing him raised from the dead after nearly 5 hours. I didn’t know what the outcome would be, but I started praising God with all of my heart & telling Him AND the devil, that regardless,
I would not quit serving Him. It was at that moment that faith abounded in my heart.
I knew he would be raised from the dead. Thank You, Jesus…
I have personally felt the benefit of rejoicing in the Lord.
I have seen it destroy the devil. He cannot stand it.
I really believe that God inhabits the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3).
God is so pleased when we look beyond the natural and see things in the light of faith. That blesses God. 
Praise is not the inevitable byproduct that comes when everything is going right in our lives; it is the driving force. Praise will get our focus where it needs to be on God.  If we start praising God in the middle of our problems, our problems will shrink so much that we’ll hardly remember to bring them to God.  We’ll be so busy praising Him and thanking Him for His blessings that our problems will be an afterthought.  (Obviously, this spiritual weapon of choice is against the self-sabotaging emotions/grain/flesh, but welded in the power of God’s Holy Spirit, it will overcome the devil & his schemes regarding us personally, our family, our circumstances.)

Philippians 4:6 says, Be careful for no-thing; but in every thing by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  Do you know what the Greek word for ‘nothing’ in that verse means?  It means nothing.  It means there are no exceptions.
Sure, you might have problems, but you don’t have to worry or be careful about them. 
You can go to the Lord in prayer with thanksgiving & make your requests known to Him…

I saw it. I saw exactly how He did it, Sid. It said that, 'Jesus took the 5 loaves & 2 fishes & looking up to Heaven praised God & gave thanks.' What’s going on? Jesus knows, 'I got to feed a bunch of people with this little bit.
I need the power, the creative power of the glory cloud.' So that’s why He first 'looked up to Heaven'...
He’s looking for the open heaven to get the cloud to drop. The next thing it says is, 'Then praising God, He gave thanks.' What’s he doing? He’s doing Psalm 100, entering into His gates with thanksgiving & His courts with praise. There’s gates in Heaven. You can open them with thanksgiving, & then the glory cloud will fall, & our praise, God’s presence or His glory will have our praises. So He’s looking up to Heaven & says, 'Okay, now I need to get it open. I’m using my thanksgiving & praise'... He gets it open. The cloud drops.
The next thing it (holy scripture) says is this: 'Then He spoke a blessing over the bread.' What’s he doing?
He’s doing what God did in Genesis 1 when God created the world. God had His glory cloud & spoke into the cloud. He said, 'Let there be light.' There was light. Jesus gets the presence of the glory...
He lifts the little bit of bread He has up into (the glory), & speaks a blessing over the bread, literally commanding it to prosper, to multiply, & it does in the creative power of the cloud...
Okay. So I see this revelation. I’m like (recognizing), that’s how he did it...
I can do it, too. So I did the exact same thing...if the Bible says it, I can believe it."
(Sid) "You have a fast. You call it a Jesus fast. What is that?
(Katie) "Totally focusing on Jesus, just worshiping, doing songs that are about him.
Reading all the gospels, prophecies, everything about Jesus, spending all the time meditating on Him, speaking within our heart, & just doing that in a elongated period of time. 
What happens is you begin to carry him & birth him when you do that. 
So here I am. I see it. I was like, wow, that’s how Jesus did it...Oh my gosh, I can do the same thing, right?
So I begin to do exactly what Jesus did... I began to do a Psalm 100. 'Enter into the gates of Heaven with thanksgiving & His courts with praise.' I just pressed & pressed, kept my focus, & kept praising & thanking God. When I felt the atmosphere change, I felt the burning & glory.  I felt like a heaviness on my shoulder.
I knew the tangible presence of the glory was there, & I had created power. So I did what Jesus did.
I lifted up my bread (money) into the cloud & spoke into the cloud a blessing over it. I commanded it to multiply. Well the day after the 21-day fast ended we got a check"...
(Katie's prayer for you,) "Right now I just want to break off anything that’s on you that would hinder you from believing that you have the legal right to ascend into Heaven and get everything you need to cause your promises to come to pass in an accelerated manner. So I pray for you now. Just receive it right now. I command everything that will hinder you from ascending into the heavenly realms to be gone right now, right now in the name of Jesus, & for you to by faith be able to go into the heavenly realms & bring back everything you need to live life & life abundant. I decree an open heaven for you that you will become knowledgeable about the glory, how to cause it to manifest in your house, how to bring it in, how to open the heavens, & have a tangible manifestation of the glory cloud coming into your home, so you can begin to pay your monthly bills & command a blessing over them. Many songs bring us back under the Old Covenant by asking God to do what He has already done through Jesus Christ.  We should have it... songs that praise Him for what He has already done, even if we don't feel (or perceive/see) It's an insult to God to continue to keep asking Him to do what He has already done...
Our salvation was completed through the cross, death, resurrection & ascension of Jesus Christ, so we must accept, rejoice in & declare it. 
That's the Truth; as we declare & sing the Truth, the Spirit of God will come & confirm it...
Earlier...much of the praise that was sung by Christians majored on declaring the great things the Lord had done for them... Today, many of us are using worship as a cry for help & deliverance."

Psalm 111:1 - Several Years ago I was driving down the road just minding my own business when the Spirit of God came upon me.  He comes upon me in some of the most unusual places.  Then He said to me, "Son, the church is sadly lacking."  I said, "What do you mean, 'sadly lacking'?"  "Well," He said, "My children basically love Me, but they live in poverty and sickness & defeat. 
They don't live in heaven's blessings, because they don't worship Me enough."  "You said that right, Lord," I said.  "In fact I know whole congregations who don't spend any time worshipping You at all. 
The pastors don't ever say, 'Let's worship God for a while just because He's God.'  They just teach the people to go to church, sing a few songs & listen to a song or 2 sung by the choir, but they don't really worship You."
Then He said to me, "& neither do you."  All I could say was, "Is that right?"  He continued, "You're going around the country teaching My Word.  You're teaching faith and confession.  You're praying for the sick, but you need to worship Me more.  You need to teach My people to worship Me more.  I'm their God.  They're My children. 
If you'll teach my children to worship Me more, I'll do great & mighty things for them." 
By this time I was weeping.  Every time the Lord tells me I'm a flake & I've missed it, I always repent & weep. 
It wasn't long before I found out what the Bible said about worship & began to teach on worship.

Keys to Taking Your Quantum Leap - 8/16/2008 - "Years ago, as a young scientist & inventor, I worked with Dr. Bob Moog.  Together we gave the music world the 1st performance keyboards called Moog synthesizers. I learned to work with electrons & photons:
tiny elements that are so small they can't be seen! Yet these invisible elements cause all electronic devices to work. This project caused me to ask the question, "Is there more to our universe than what I can perceive through my senses?"  My search to learn more about physical reality & how it works led me to discover that quantum physics identifies a large part of our universe to be non-physical. I began to realize that the universe is greater than science has discovered or can explain. Through quantum physics and spiritual revelation, the Holy Spirit confirmed keys to understanding physical reality.
There is a Non-Physical Reality
My studies in quantum mechanics led me to the works of Max Planck, Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, & others.  Here I learned that everything we see is part of a vast ocean of infinitesimally small subatomic particles. Under certain conditions, these subatomic structures also take on the properties of invisible waves. When I learned that these waves, or particles which make up all matter, cause that matter to blink into existence by being observed by the experimenter, I was shaken to my core.  How could it be that these invisible elements, which make up all matter, can be changed from particles to waves by how they are observed? This reality is beyond our human consciousness and our 5 senses. Or is it?
All of these particles &/or waves appear to be connected. How can it be that every atomic & subatomic element is hooked up?
Is this invisible world a part of the spiritual realm?  I suppose the duality of matter being waves or particles and how quantum mechanics attempts to explain this revolutionary idea changed me forever. It caused me to do my own research, which led to the convergence of quantum mechanics & my personal spiritual revelation. I was about to take a quantum leap.  1 Corinthians 1:28 says, "...
God (has) chosen...things which are not (the invisible) to bring to naught things which are (the visible)." This Scripture makes sense only when you understand it at the atomic & subatomic level.
Everything is made up of atoms, which are frequencies of energy. These frequencies of energy are the voice of Jesus causing all things to be! Atoms are made up of subatomic particles & subatomic particles are made up of superstrings (which are toroidal vortices of energy). Superstrings are tiny donut shaped packets of energy that spin at a frequency (or sing as in a pitch).   None of this is real in this dimension because they exist only in a state of possibilities until someone observes them.
Then, at that observation, the potential becomes a thing: a particle or a wave. This quantum wave collapse, caused by observation, is called popping a qwiff. This is your 1st step to taking a quantum leap. You can see or observe a God qwiff (something God shows you that is not yet real in this dimension) & by observing or popping that qwiff, cause that potential to become your reality. Be careful what you see; you are going to get it. Be careful what you say; you will get that, too.
Light is Slowing Down
The spiritual realm operates above the speed of light. The physical realm (this dimension) has been shaped to its current limits by the falls of both Lucifer (see Luke 10:18) & man in the Garden of Eden (see Genesis 3:7). When man fell, the speed of light slowed down. In the beginning, when God spoke the universe into existence, His entire band-width of glory was made physical.
From His glory (all frequencies) and His voice (all frequencies expressed) all light, energy & matter became...It is believed that the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. Physicist Barry Setterfield, mathematician Trevor Norman & Canadian mathematician Alan Montgomery have measured light & proven that the speed of light is slowing down.  That means that light may have been 10-30% faster in the time of Christ; twice as fast in the days of Solomon; & 4 times as fast in the days of Abraham.  My friend Chuck Missler says, "That would imply that the velocity of light was more than 10 million times faster prior to 3,000 B.C. This possibility would also alter our concepts of time & the age of the universe. The universe might actually be less than 10,000 years old." That sounds like a quantum leap to me.  Before the fall, God had created 1 realm from gravity waves to His glory.
This present human realm is up through the electromagnetic spectrum to the speed of light.
The interesting point about the speed of light slowing down is that when Lucifer (the bearer of light) rebelled in Heaven and was cursed & cast down. I believe cast down from the frequencies of God's glory - he lost his bandwidth & fell down from his spiritual consciousness. In the Garden of Eden, when mankind sinned, was cursed in the fall downward, & lost upper bandwidth & spiritual consciousness, light slowed down even more...Other Biblical events suggest that the cosmos lost bandwidth.
Noah's flood is such an example. Light slowed down to cause just the right frequencies for the rainbow (see Genesis 9:12-17). At Nimrod's Tower of Babel, mankind lost the upper bandwidth to communicate. (See Genesis 11:7)...Jesus Himself told His disciples that they will get their upper bandwidth back.
In John 16:13 He said, "When He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth...
He will show you things to come." Jesus is saying, "I want to show you your future. You can know My will & My plan for your life, although right now, you don't have the upper bandwidth to see or observe it. But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will give you the upper bandwidth to see things to come." 
Here is a quantum leap for someone:
If you know something coming from your future, let's say a vision, a revelation, a desire, or even a creative idea, that information has to move faster than the speed of light to reach you. You can & must know your God-given assignment. Information flowing from your future possibilities is waiting for you to see - to observe & call those things that are not as though they are.
The quantum leap of knowing your purpose & assignment is waiting as a God qwiff for you to pop.
Matter is Frequency Being Spoken by Jesus
When God spoke and all the frequencies of His glory became manifest, the cosmos became! From the tiniest vibrating superstring that is causing or singing the atoms that make up the table of 103 elements, all the way through everything the Hubble telescope sees, are the vibrating frequencies of Jesus' voice...Colossians 1:16-17 says, "For by Him all things were created that are in Heaven and that are on earth, visible & invisible...He is before all things, & in Him all things consist (exist or are sustained)." The phrase "He is before all things" means that He is outside of our time. Jesus said to John the Revelator that He was & is the Alpha (beginning) & Omega (ending).
Jesus is outside our concept of time in His eternal now & is causing all things to be...
When we consider creation and all things eternal, our false concepts regarding time & matter limit our understanding. Receive the concept that Jesus is outside of our time & calendar, looking in.
He is observing. He is sustaining all things in this nano-second (1 billionth of a second) & is singing the frequencies or vibrations of your body. If He didn't, you would dissolve. Your electrons, particles, and subatomic structures are blinking in & out of existence.
You think you are a solid object, but quantum mechanics has confirmed that all subatomic particles (the stuff you are made of) are blinking in & out of this reality.
Enoch was walking so closely with God in the Spirit that "he was not, for God took him" (see Genesis 5:24). Jesus simply stopped blinking Enoch into this realm. How close are you to Jesus Christ? How far away is your healing, your deliverance, or your miracle?  He is close, for in Him you live & move & have your being.  In the next nano-second, He sustains you or sings your frequency set. Understand that your healing or miracle is within the next nanosecond. In the blink of a nanosecond, He can cause your healing. Observe your: healing, miracle, deliverance, & be filled with all Truth by observing the future God has for you. Take that quantum leap.  When we understand that we are being created in Christ by His causing (by Him singing our song) our intimacy with Him will change. His song of creation was not something He did 16 billion years ago. He is causing you now. Because the speed of light has slowed down, because we have our upper bandwidth back, & because He is sustaining us every nanosecond, the act of creation is happening now.  Take your quantum leap into His eternal now.
All Matter Has Memory - Your Words are Being Recorded
As a scientist and inventor, I have developed various memory retrieval systems. 
In the 1970s, I developed a laser optical music system to store sounds on silver oxide film & play the sounds back with keyboards, using modulated light beams.
I was amazed when I found the Scripture in Joshua 24:27 that says, "Joshua said unto all the people, 'Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which He spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest you deny your God.'"  Was this Old Testament quantum physicist saying that matter has memory?  Is this man, who called for & observed the sun standing still in the heavens, telling us that the stone is listening? This is the man who sounded a frequency that cancelled the frequencies of matter in the walls of Jericho, thereby dissolving their atomic lattice structure with his shout & song. Did this man say the rocks are listening?  Jesus said the same thing. Joshua said the stone could record, & Jesus said in Luke 19:40 that the stones would cry out. Habakkuk 2:11 says, "For the stone shall cry out of the wall, & the beam out of the timber shall answer it." I came to understand that all matter has memory. The Bible says that matter can record & will play back. How can these things be? 
As I studied both quantum theory and Scripture, revelation came. I learned that Gerald Feinberg, a physicist at Columbia University, named a certain subatomic particle, that he found in Einstein's math, after the Greek word tachys, meaning "swift."  He called this superluminal particle a tachyon.
This particle moved faster than light. The tachyon is not looked upon favorably by physicists.
If tachyons can be proven to exist & anything that moves faster than light can be found, scientists will have to explain how something can appear before its cause. EG: if a scientific test was set up to look for this elusive faster-than-light tachyon, & the computer started at 12:00 noon counting forward through the test sequence, the test result wouldn't be at 12:01 or later. It would show the effect before the cause at 11:59 or earlier. Scientists don't have computers that count backwards & don't accept results that appear before the cause. But wait. 2/3 of your Bible got to mankind before the event or cause.
All prophecy is the result of facts before the event.  All creativity comes before the actual physical reality. What is a vision? What is a word of knowledge? It is seeing, knowing, getting information before the causation. There is no other source of creativity than the Holy Spirit.
All truth comes to man through the only source of truth we have: Holy Spirit. When you see your future, you are getting information faster than the speed of light through a means of streaming superluminal particles. The barrier of light speed is bridged from this subluminal realm to the higher bandwidth of the superluminal realm by the Holy Spirit.  Something like Gerald Feinberg's tachyon exists in all matter. It is just above, or faster than the speed of light. We know it's there because we find the results of such in the very fact of prophecy, or in the concept of words of knowledge, & even our Bible itself. These are proofs that the potential & possibilities of future promises or information is flowing to us. The superluminal tachyon-like connector exists.  That faster-than-light particle in all matter receives and remembers or records photons that shine on matter as in the photoelectric effect. Modulated photons go into all matter, reside in the vortex of superluminal faster-than-light particles, & knock electrons out. This photoelectric effect is how my modulated light musical instruments worked in the 1970s. That is how CD players & DVD players work now.  Today, it is not difficult to believe that matter has memory, because most of us have tiny memory sticks or memory cards that record or store information from our cameras & computers. Information flowing into matter & recalling it is commonplace. Photons from all light sources reflect from your body and off your belongings. Those information carrying photons go into all matter, including walls, your ring & watch. This information, even what we say & think, is modulating or moving through the connectedness of all atomic structures.
This modulated photon goes in & electrons come out. That is why Joshua said, "This stone has heard."  Every word, action, & deed done in the flesh has been recorded.  This is where yesterday went. It is all recorded in matter & will someday be played back. This is how evil & curses reside in places or things. Even though matter has recorded everything, our prayer in the name of Jesus can take the effect of Christ's blood - His blood that is eternal & beyond time (available to) cancel out all evil, sin & past sin's memory from matter. Oh, that is a quantum leap for many.  You can speak to & erase from places all curses & evil in Jesus' name.  Have you fixed your past? Have you removed all curses? Have you blessed the things you own? Have you blessed your house, office, car, belongings, money, computer & phone? Are those things and places free from your past actions, words & thoughts? You or someone else can speak a blessing or curse on your things... Take a quantum leap.
Seeing Your Future as God Sees it is Quantum Faith
Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is the substance. It is the invisible substance from which your physical world was & is being created by Jesus Christ. Annette Capps (daughter of Charles) said,
"God used faith substance and word energy to create the universe. He spoke & the vibration (sound) of His words released (caused) the substance that became the stars & planets."  God's future potential & all the promised possibilities constantly flow through the Holy Spirit into you. Noise on my circuit limits my ability to hear His voice & see His future for me.
The noise in my inner man is not always sin; my noise can be my gift, my ability, even that special way I am put together & wired.  I can become so busy-noisy that I am out of phase with God's voice & vision for me.  As I get quiet and become still, I can hear & see what God's future is for my reality.
Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still & know that I am God..."My future comes from God's possibilities & potential. I pop God's qwiffs & my reality is! What an awesome quantum leap...
Elsewhen Teaching: Where Yesterday Went and Tomorrow Comes From
Elsewhen is the title of my book. This is an interesting word. Elsewhere means over there, or a place out of town, or out there somewhere. Elsewhen is your consciousness out of time here & into God's upper bandwidth of cosmic consciousness.  It is to disconnect from things of this realm & become connected to ideas, visions, & input that comes directly from your Savior, Designer & Creator. 
Elsewhen is the experience of knowing without having to learn or push yourself to know.
It is to so behold Jesus Himself, that you comprehend the root of wisdom through the Holy Spirit.
You herein have come to understand that there is a non-physical reality from which this universe & everything in it flows. Jesus Himself is causing our body, our spirit, & everything you have to blink into your reality. Light is slowing down & there is upper bandwidth & knowledge through the Holy Spirit.
All the things of life & their purpose for you & your assignment are frequencies being spoken by Christ Himself at this very nanosecond.
Matter has memory, and you can change everything that has been recorded by what you observe, by the words you declare, or by the curses you remove & release in the name of Jesus. You can create protected places by anointing with oil & speaking blessings with your words of faith. Where will you start? What quantum leaps have come up in your spirit? You have been given a new elsewhen cosmic consciousness.  Pop those God qwiffs & cause upper bandwidth to change your reality.

KATHERINE: You know, I believe it is fellowship with God through worship, through a life of worship.
I used to think of worship as this strange conduct. Why would God want us to tell Him how good He was all the time? But actually, worship is a Divine embrace. It's like when I was a young mom.  My little kids would see me when I came home, put their arms up & go, "Up Mommy, up."  I couldn't resist. I'd want to scoop them up.  
You know what.  That's what worship is like for us. We come to God & say, "Up, Daddy. Help."
He runs towards & scoops us up.  Just as we love on Him, He loves on & tells us we have to pray for supernatural help to handle how much love He wants to give us.

Worship is like the helium that lifts our balloons up to God, the air updraft that lifts up the wing of a plane into heaven, & the music that pierces & shatters glass ceilings hindering our entrance to the Trinity. 
Let us rejoice, ignoring all dead or negative feelings.  Rejoicing is a key to our freedom.
The Lord is trying, without much success, to teach us that thanksgiving, praise, &/or worship is NOT to be based/grounded on feelings, emotion, or anything of of the human nature. Feelings & emotion can be a positive side effect the same way that good health is a side effect of healing (or that disease is a negative side effect or symptom of bad health, evil spirits, environmental pollution, or radiation such as from atomic bombs or sunburn.) The point is this.  Many of us hit a glass ceiling in our attempt to enter into: an open heaven, open relationship with God, or worship, because we are relying on our feelings & emotions to whisk us away into a honeymoon type of orgasm.  Like marriage, childcare, eldercare, our tending to our relationships with: family (including in-laws) & God is a DAILY deliberate plodding, based on fact & not on feeling.  Love is a walk, not a feeling.
 Lord, help us to be both teachable & obedient.  Thank You.  Amen.

What is the Laughter All About? By Kathie Walters - Print Friendly - 11/14/2013 - article - "Sometimes you don't know what is happening in your mind, but your spirit man knows.  A few years ago when I was in New Zealand I was speaking at a conference in Auckland with Ian & Joye Johnson. In the middle of my teaching session Ian who was to the far left of a very wide room, suddenly fell on the floor & just lay there. I looked & carried on speaking. About 5 minutes later a woman, my good friend Sheryl Morgan, who was the on the far right of the meeting suddenly fell on the floor & started laughing & laughing. They were the only 2, everyone else was just listening to me.  About 20 minutes later Ian picked himself up & sat back in his chair.  Then Sheryl stopped laughing & she sat back in her chair.  I finished the meeting about 30 minutes later.  I went to find Ian & asked him what happened.  Suddenly a chariot came down & so I got in to it and the next minute I was standing inside my friend's church in Fiji. He was preaching & I saw a huge big black island demon coming right at him, then I heard this laughter & it left. (He knew nothing about Sheryl on the other side of the room). 
Then I went & found Sheryl & asked her what happened & why she was laughing so hard. She said to me, 'Oh I kept seeing this big black thing & laughing at it.'  Well the next day the pastor from Fiji called Ian.
'You were in my church yesterday weren't you Ian? I was preaching & this big black island demon came at me. Then WE ALL HEARD THIS LAUGHTER & it left.'?  You see in the middle of a meeting in Auckland God took 2 people from my meeting & took them to Fiji to take care of a demonic attack on the pastor there.
Isn't it fantastic what God does? There are no limits in the Spirit realm. As long as we are not afraid of it.
Laughter Took Care of It - Another time when I was in Wales ministering at Pastor Sarah Trinder's church, I got up to do session 2 of my conference. I think I read a scripture. Everyone started laughing, loudly so I sat down and waited. It went on for about 20-30 minutes.  Then I continued that session. At the end when I started to pray for everyone I thought it was going to be a bit of a battle, because I noticed when I was speaking that there were a lot of people who needed deliverance form Freemasonry & druidism. There's a lot of druidism in Wales.
As I started praying for people it was almost shocking in that it was so effortless - things just left & lifted from people. I was thinking to myself, 'Wow this is really easy, there are such strong spirits on some of these people.'  Then the Holy Spirit reminded me, 'Oh, the laughter in the beginning already took care of it.' It did, that was what was happening. God had already arranged the victory for people & in the Spirit realm the people in the meeting picked up on that & the victory laughter came.  So don't quench the laughter, it is one of the most powerful warfare weapons. God's ways are not our ways."

SID: But you found something that supernaturally broke you through to be the person God wanted you to be.

I started singing from Revelation 1, where John turns around, sees Jesus & begins to describe what He looked like.  I simply began to sing this portion of scripture, starting in verse 12-18. Suddenly, 100%, not just to some people, the whole room (the Harvest School). Every single person was caught up in dreams & visions.
JULIE: I had an encounter with the Lord. It was during our renewal services in Kansas City. I was actually out for 4 hours. This was not a dream. It was an encounter.  But I went down & all of a sudden, 2 angels picked me up by my arms.  I could hear their wings.  These had wings. I could hear their wings going [grrrr].
Both of them were saying, "Gotta get higher, gotta get higher, gotta get higher". I could see like this open portal, like I could see what I would have thought Jacob might have saw.  But I was hanging there for a long time. 
They kept saying, "Gotta get higher, gotta get higher".
In a dream or an encounter you're still you. I don't know any more. In this, I turned around & said, "What's the problem? You're an angel. I'm not that big."  I just didn't get it, you know. Suddenly, this very large (angel), like 30-foot grabbed me from the back of my collar & pulled me up.  So I'm dangling right in front of his face. He said, "It's not them, it's you.  You've got too many gates open. Your: mouth, eye, ear gate.  What you: say, listen to, watch. If you want to go up, you gotta close the gates." Suddenly I heard, "Bam. Bam. Bam."
I shot straight up into this portal where these angels were just having me eat, eat, eat, eat the scroll.

God is not only in the medical business of restoring sanity in the old testament, but also in the new testament + today & tomorrow, for God is not dead...
Praise is NOT our reaction to how we FEEL.  NO.  It is a command from God Himself.  He commands us to offer praise to Him as a sacrifice...Satan abdicated his position as director of praise, the very thing that now defeats him.  That is why we need to praise, regardless of feelings, in addition to the fact that God is worthy of continuous praise 24 hours a day.  Praise is the foundation on which we need to stand. 
Praise is the air which we need to breathe.  We praise Father God, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit...
Our flesh/feelings are tuned in to the AM radio frequency, while our spirit is tuned in to the FM radio frequency, for illustration.  The FM station may always be out of tune, because there is the static interference of the enemy, plus our unfamiliarity with tuning in to the right station.  We need to train our spiritual senses to recognize God's voice.  An infant will not bond to an absent parent.  We need to bond to God.  We need to practice listening to His voice, so our voice recognition software will pick up His voice and not mistake it for Satan's.  We need to tune out Satan and self and tune in God.  The more we do this the more comfortable we will be.  If our human brains are on overload attempting to climb into heaven, our human spirit will miss out on its daily adventures with God.  When we die we may be only infants in spiritual maturity, having failed to spend time with Dad.  AM is equivalent tuning in to God with the brain/intellect.  PM is equivalent to communicating spirit to Spirit.  2 entirely different wave lengths.  The brain/flesh will take us 40 years to get to the promised land.  The Holy Spirit can get us there in the twinkling of an eye, just like Peter Pan, through translations or whatever method God chooses...
There is the retold story of animals/birds held captive via a leash tied to a tree.  When the leash/tether is cut, the animal never ventures outside its former prison perimeter.  We too often behave the same way.  We often have mental and/or enemy spiritual ties/umbilical chords/strongholds/strings/chords tied to us that attempt to blind/stop/prevent us from escaping from the past mindsets, even when the rope/collars/chains/restraints are cut off by Christ Jesus Himself.  Scripture says to put/take on the mind of Christ.  One way to do this is to recite aloud and memorize Scripture.  When we input something new it displaces the old, so there is no more room for the old.  The more full of Christ we are, the less room there is for old mindsets.  Take a floppy disk. 
Reformat it and now it is new.  Likewise, we can let the Holy Spirit do that with our minds. 
The more we dip into The River of Life, the more we will look, act, & think like Him.  As we break off/loose ourselves from depression, we allow ourselves to step into thanksgiving.  Next we go through the veil separating thanksgiving from praise.  Finally we go through the veil separating praise from worship. Here is where we want to be in the arms of our spiritual husband and lover.  Here is where we will be content/free/complete/at peace.
