In the biological literature, there is a lot of articles published that show many parasites have the ability to extract toxic metals from their host & condense it into their skin cell wall.
Many of the parasitic worms, ascaris, tape works, echinococcus, hook worms (there are many of them) have the ability to extract from you your lead, your mercury & condense it into your body. That has 2 effects.
1 effect is you will survive because you don’t die anymore from the mercury toxicity,

Chitinase is the naturally occurring enzyme that breaks chitin down into chitosan.
I will repeat that point, it is the central point you need to know in order to organically reverse a disease (& possibly even insect) outbreak using chitin. Chitinase is the enzyme that breaks chitin down into chitosan.
Some living organisms produce this chitinase enzyme. Most of these organisms are bacteria (& some fungi).
Some plants even produce this enzyme in order to fight off disease (this is the "system" that we will use to model our pest control treatment). Many of the chitinase producing microorganisms are known crustacean pathogens.
These organisms produce this enzyme so they can break down crustacean shells (in order to eat it, or get through it to invade the shellfish itself). While this may seem bad, it can be used to our organic advantage.

Chitinase (enzyme) occurs naturally in many common foods. This is at least 1 cause of the cross-reaction phenomenon in latex-fruit syndrome. Papayas are like avocados & banana, because they all contain substances called chitinases, which are associated with latex-fruit allergy syndrome.
There is much evidence to support the idea of the cross-reaction between latex & these fruits.

Fruits that have been processed with ethylene gas will have an increased amount of these chitinases.
Organic fruit, which is not treated with gas, will have fewer of the allergy causing compounds.

This treatment comes from an owner who uses wormwood (Artemisia sp.) infrequently & whose goats do not like it. Branches of the following are fed in winter time: cedar (Thuja plicata), Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), snowberry (Symphoricarpos albus)Alternatively goats are given 2 drops of tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) on the tongue at milking time. This does not cause an off-taste in the milk.

Animals are fed armfuls of carrot (Daucus carota), celery (Apium graveolens), parsley (Petroselinum sp.) or parsnip tops (Pastinaca sativa).

Coccidiosis -
Feeding ample amounts of branches of Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) is said to prevent coccidia.

External parasites (such as) Lice - Bark shavings of cedar (Thuja plicata) are put in the bedding.

Papaya plants come in 3 sexes: male; female & hermaphrodite, which has both male & female parts on same flower.
If your goal is to ensure your trees don’t pick up genetically engineered pollen, you need to be able to tell the sex of your trees. Papaya seedlings all look the same, so (unless you are able to do DNA fingerprinting) you have to wait for the tree to be old enough to flower. Then you can tell the sex by looking at the flowers.
The male papaya tree has no fruit, just a big cluster of flowers on long stalks.
The buds are thin & shaped like a stretched-out spoon. Occasionally, just to be confusing, a male tree can produce a hermaphrodite flower & fruit at the end of the long stalk. This seems to happen during unusual weather conditions.
Female papaya trees have fruits, but if not pollinated, they will have fruits with no seeds. The flower is rounder shaped (see photo), puffed out by the fat ovary inside. The flower has an ovary with branching lemon-yellow stigma (where the pollen from a male or hermaphrodite lands), but no bright orange male anthers.
The fruits can have many shapes, depending on variety, but are always somewhat rounded, like a pear or a globe.
Hermaphrodite papaya trees have fruits with seeds. The flowers are thinner than females, with a tubular shape. Hermaphrodite papaya flowers contain both male and female parts within each flower, very close together.
This arrangement nearly always ensures that the flowers will self-pollinate.
The male part (stamen) has orange pollen-containing anthers on the ends of short white filaments.
The pollen can drip right down onto the female part of the flower (pistil). Thus, all hermaphrodites bear fruit.
The fruit is elongated, somewhat football-shaped, compared to the rounder fruit the female trees produce.
